Artist Jon Sasaki utilizes video, objects, performance and installation, to take cynicism, futility and tragedy as starting points to counter a thematic heaviness with dry, comic delivery. The exhibit Jon Saskai: Good Intentions is curated by Ann MacDonald and organized by the Doris McCarthy Gallery in partnership with the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery, Southern Alberta Art Gallery, MacLaren Art Gallery, Dunlop Art Gallery and Prairie Art Gallery.
