On July 14th, come to the lecture and book signing for Installations by Architects currently showing at Cambridge Galleries Design at Riverside.Curated by Sarah Bonnemaison and Ronit Eisenbach, Installations by Architects is presented as a series of 36 printed banners and a film projection featuring 10 time-based projects. The installations are grouped together under the themes Tectonics, Body, Nature, Memory, and Public Space. The book Installations by Architects (Princeton Architectural Press, 2009) follows the same format and themes as the exhibition but also includes interviews with the project architects and discussions by critics and theorists. The catalogue is available for $45 plus tax.
